The Civil Service Development Institute of the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, Executive Yuan, will hold an "Online Reading Promotion Seminar" on April 23, 2020. All colleagues are welcome to sign up and participate.

The Civil Service Development Institute of the Executive Yuan's Personnel Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "Institute") will hold an "Online Reading Promotion Seminar" on April 23, 2020. All colleagues are welcome to sign up.

Details:
1. In accordance with the Institute's letter No. 1090800107 dated April 16, 2020,
and attached is a copy of the original letter (including attachments) for reference.

2. In response to the advent of the digital age and in line with the main theme of encouraging reading for World Book Day,
the Institute has planned the aforementioned seminar to guide trainees through professional lectures,
to understand the trends and applications of digital reading, and thereby enhance the digital self-learning ability of civil servants. The relevant information is as follows:

(1) Seminar format: Online (remote synchronous teaching). Participants will engage in lectures and interactions online. Participants who attend the entire session online will be awarded 2 hours of lifelong learning credits.

(2) Seminar time: April 23, 2020, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM (the first 30 minutes are for check-in and class announcements, and the following 90 minutes are for the lecture).

(3) Eligibility: Civil servants and contract employees of all government agencies (including district offices) of this administration.

(4) Registration method: From now until April 21, 2020, please register online through the Institute's "Training Needs and Learning Services System." Log in with your national identification card or personal account and password, and complete the online registration through the "Individual Registration" section in your personal area. Each session has a limit of 20 participants, on a first-come, first-served basis. The list of participants will be announced on the Institute's "Ongoing Seminars" website on April 21, 2020. No separate notification will be issued.

3. To ensure the smooth progress of the online seminar, participants will be granted half-day official leave. The online seminar will have online assistants to help participants with check-in, attendance, and other related tasks. If participants are absent or request leave, it will be handled in the same way as for physical courses, and relevant agencies will be notified.
本研習將由線上助教協助學員報到、點名等相關作業,參
加研習人員若有未到訓或請假等情形,將比照實體課程通
知各機關。

4. Admitted participants are requested to complete their online login between 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM on April 23, 2020 (the admission notification will provide information on how to use the relevant video conferencing software). The online lecture and interactive seminar will begin promptly at 3:00 PM.
