Informs of the letter from the Civil Service Protection and Training Commission regarding the question of whether the performance appraisal items can be counted for scoring when police officers transfer to the civil service system and participate in the selection for the training for promotion from recommended to simplified ranks (hereinafter referred to as recommended-to-simplified training).

2. According to Article 14-1 of the Police Personnel Act, "Police agencies and schools shall
establish regulations for police officers and general administrative personnel and technical personnel with police officer qualifications, their years of service, performance appraisals, and promotions equivalent to their ranks (grades) shall
