To inform you about the request from the Language Training and Testing Center to invite full-time English teachers from public junior high schools to serve as raters and proctors for the "General English Proficiency Test" (GEPT) writing and speaking sections.

Details:
1. The GEPT, developed by the Center, has been in use for over twenty years, with more than 300,000 test-takers annually. Over 80% of these are junior and senior high school students. The test's quality and reliability have been widely recognized and trusted by public and private enterprises, as well as academic institutions both domestically and internationally. It is also widely accepted by schools at all levels for admission or graduation requirements.

2. To maintain strong interaction with the English teaching community, we are inviting current full-time English teachers to participate in training for the GEPT Elementary Level writing and speaking tests. Upon passing the assessment, they will become official raters.

3. For the dates of the Elementary Level writing and speaking tests in 2022 and the estimated scoring periods, please refer to the "GEPT Website" recruitment page for raters (https://bit.ly/3E25zGl).

4. Teachers interested in serving as GEPT proctors should visit the official GEPT Website (https://bit.ly/2X6YEuq) and complete the online application form.

5. If you are involved in teaching, tutoring, or editing textbooks related to other English proficiency tests that are similar to, competitive with, or alternatives to this test, please recuse yourself.
