For your information, regarding the matter of the Taoyuan City Government's selection of integrity role models for 113.
Explanation:
I. In accordance with Article 2 of the "Implementation Guidelines for the Selection and Commendation of Integrity Role Models of the Taoyuan City Government" (hereinafter referred to as these Guidelines).
II. To boost employee morale and promote clean governance, integrity role models are regularly selected every two years, targeting employees of agencies and schools under this government. For exemplary integrity deeds, please refer to the items listed in Article 3 of these Guidelines:
(I) Refusal of Gifts and Bribes: Refusing bribes, gifts, or improper benefits in relation to supervised or managed duties, serving as a model of integrity and honesty.
(II) Contribution to Anti-Corruption Efforts: Actively reporting or providing information that leads to the discovery of corruption or illegal activities, or promotes the effectiveness of administrative anti-corruption efforts, making significant contributions to enhancing the image of the agency and protecting the rights and interests of the people.
(III) Preventing Corruption and Saving Public Funds: Proposing concrete measures to prevent corruption in business operations that are adopted by the agency, or effectively preventing corruption and fraud or saving substantial public funds through the execution or supervision of procurement and construction projects, demonstrating significant achievements.
(IV) Upholding Government Ethics: Assisting in the planning, promotion, and execution of government ethics initiatives, with significant innovative insights that have been approved by superiors.
(V) Other Integrity Deeds: Other deeds related to maintaining the integrity and ethics of this government, serving as a model of integrity and influencing the political climate.
III. Each agency is requested to actively recommend individuals whose integrity deeds between June 111 and May 113 meet the criteria for integrity role models (a maximum of 3 individuals per agency/school). Please have the personnel and government ethics units assist in reviewing whether the recommended individuals fall under any of the disqualifying circumstances outlined in Article 4 of these Guidelines. Please complete the "113 Integrity Role Model Recommendation Form" (Attachment 1), the "113 Taoyuan City Government Integrity Role Model Qualification Review Form" (Attachment 2), and attach relevant supporting documents in the prescribed format. Please submit them via official letter to the Taoyuan City Government's Department of Government Ethics by June 14, 113 (Friday). Please also send the electronic files of the aforementioned attachments to the contact person's email address (10065799@mail.tycg.gov.tw) for subsequent review and evaluation.
IV. Agencies and schools under the Taoyuan City Government's Department of Education, Police Department, Department of Health, Department of Civil Affairs, and Department of Land Administration shall be collectively recommended by their respective first-level agencies.
