For your information, regarding the results of the 8th Civil Service Badminton Championship of our city and the commendation of outstanding participating teams and personnel.

Explanation:
1. This event was successfully concluded on June 29, 113 (Saturday) at the Taoyuan City General Stadium. A total of 124 teams participated, with approximately 1,700 participants. As in previous years, this championship was divided into 8 groups: Civil Servant Men's Group A, B, and C, Civil Servant Women's Group A, B, and C, and Teacher/Staff Men's and Women's Groups. Attached is the competition results sheet for each group.

2. According to the commendation principles for outstanding participating teams stipulated in the Implementation Rules of the 8th Civil Service Badminton Championship of our city:
(1) For the 1st place in each Civil Servant group, the captain and team members shall each receive a commendation. Additionally, two individuals from the team's leader, coach, manager, and personnel who actually participated in team training and management shall each receive a commendation.
(2) For the Teacher/Staff group, the captain and team members of the 1st place team shall each receive a commendation, and the captains and team members of the 2nd and 3rd place teams shall be awarded a certificate of commendation. Additionally, two individuals from the team's leaders, coaches, managers, and personnel who actually participated in team training and management shall be commended or awarded a certificate of commendation according to the ranking rewards mentioned above.

3. Furthermore, in accordance with Article 4 of the "Key Points for Handling Commendation and Disciplinary Cases of Civil Servants in Taoyuan City Government and its Affiliated Agencies and Schools," commendation and disciplinary cases handled in the normal course of duty are authorized for approval and issuance by subordinate agencies. Among these, commendation cases of the second-level agencies that are below the level of a meritorious service award can be handled by their supervising first-level agencies. However, commendation cases for personnel in the city government headquarters, heads of first-level agencies, and district chiefs of district offices shall be reported to the Taoyuan City Government for approval. Additionally, according to Article 4 of the "Key Points for Commendation and Discipline of Teachers and Staff in Taoyuan City Public Schools and Kindergartens," commendation cases for school teachers and staff that are below the level of two meritorious service awards are authorized for schools to handle themselves. Commendation cases for principals shall be reported to the Department of Education for approval.

4. Regarding the commendation of outstanding participating teams and personnel in this championship, for civil servants, the responsible authorities are requested to handle the commendations according to the aforementioned commendation standards and regulations. For school teachers and staff, the district offices that organized the teams are requested to compile a list of personnel to be commended and submit it to the respective service schools (Taoyuan City Government Department of Education) for commendation or issuance of certificates of commendation. For personnel of Taoyuan Metro Corporation, the company is requested to handle the commendation matters within its authority.
