The National Academy of Governance is holding the 2024 "Public Service English Proficiency UP Training" series courses - "Digital English Empowerment Workshop" (Sessions 1 and 2). We welcome you to sign up.

Details:
1. In accordance with the National Academy of Governance's (hereinafter referred to as the Academy) official letter No. 1130660100 dated August 7, 2024, and with a copy of the original letter attached.

2. To implement the "2030 Bilingual Policy" and comprehensively enhance the international competitiveness of public servants, the Academy is offering this workshop. Through the assistance of digital technology and artificial intelligence, practical "English letter writing" and "English conversation" skills will be taught. Course information is as follows:
(1) Target Audience: Public servants of all ranks are welcome to register, provided they can provide proof of an equivalent to the General English Test (GEPT) intermediate level or CEF B1 or above.
(2) Implementation Method: Conducted via Webex Meetings virtual classroom. Each session is a 4-week course, held on Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Each session consists of 3 periods, with each period lasting 50 minutes, for a total of 12 hours.
(3) Session Themes and Dates:
1. Session 1:
(1) Course Theme: English Letter Writing, AI Technology-Assisted English Letter Writing Instruction.
(2) Dates: October 31, November 7, November 14, and November 21.
2. Session 2:
(1) Course Theme: English Conversation, AI Technology-Assisted English Conversation Instruction.
(2) Dates: November 28, December 5, December 12, and December 19.

3. Registration Method:
(1) Each session is limited to 40 participants. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis via online application, starting from August 7, 2024, on the National Academy of Governance's official website (https://www.nacs.gov.tw) under "Convenient Services" / "Course Registration." Please provide accurate personal information during registration for course-related communications.
(2) After the Academy reviews the eligibility of applicants, the list of admitted participants will generally be announced on the Academy's official website approximately 3 weeks before each session begins. No separate notification will be sent.
