(1) Eligibility and Categories for Application:
1. Eligibility: Currently employed full-time qualified teachers and administrative staff (referring to teachers with administrative duties and principals) in municipal schools and kindergartens at all levels. Must have served in this city for 7 years (inclusive) or more within the last ten years, or have accumulated 8 years of service with at least 2 years of service in the current school (including those before the change of affiliation from national institutions), and have no record of violating relevant provisions of Chapter 4 of the Teachers' Act (years of service calculated up to July 31st of the application year).
2. Application Categories:
(1) General Teacher and Administrative Staff Category: Individuals who have demonstrated outstanding performance in teaching innovation, administrative innovation, student counseling, administrative services, and educational sharing during their service period.
(2) Bilingual Teacher Category: Individuals with outstanding achievements in bilingual teaching in this city's schools for 2 years (inclusive) or more.
(2) Study Schedule and Number of Awards:
1. Study Schedule: From July 1, 2025, to August 29 of the following year. Study can be undertaken by semester or during the summer vacation, with the schedule planned based on the necessity of the study, but limited to a maximum of six months.
2. Number of Awards: Annually, the General Teacher and Administrative Staff Category will award 6 teachers and 3 administrative staff. The Bilingual Category will award 3 teachers (reserve candidates may be selected for all categories). The quotas for each category may be interchanged. (3) Funding: In addition to salary, full-time teachers and administrative staff selected by the Taoyuan City Government Education Bureau for full-time study and research will be subsidized with NT$35,000 for related expenses during their domestic and international study and research period. (4) Matters to Note: Upon completion of the study and research period, a report on the study and research results must be submitted within two months. If there are valid reasons, an extension of one month may be granted with the approval of the Taoyuan City Government Education Bureau through the school's official report. Teachers are required to conduct related teaching activity sharing (2 sessions for semester study, 1 session for summer study). One session can be held at their original school or at an invited external venue (online seminars are also acceptable and can be combined with the project briefing session). Relevant explanatory materials and supporting photos should be attached and submitted to the Taoyuan City Government Education Bureau for record.
