| I. | This is handled in accordance with the letter of the Taoyuan City Election Commission dated August 4, 115, No. 1150000942, and the letter of the Central Election Commission dated July 29, 115, No. 1153150238. |
| II. | In order to facilitate the smooth progress of polling and counting station work, the recruitment of polling and counting station staff for the 115 local public office elections will be carried out in advance if the elections are held on the same day as the national referendum, so as to facilitate subsequent staffing and related preparatory work. |
| III. | The aforementioned election has been decided by the Central Election Commission to be held on November 28, 115 (Saturday). Approximately 73 polling and counting stations are expected to be set up in this district. According to Articles 58 and 59 of the Public Officials Election and Recall Act, the chief administrator and more than one-third of the administrators of the polling and counting stations must be incumbent civil servants and teachers. The chief supervisor must be an incumbent or former civil servant or teacher. Therefore, please inform your subordinates and encourage incumbent civil servants and teachers to actively serve as staff for the polling and counting stations in this district. Staff who participate will be granted one day of compensatory leave in accordance with the spirit of the Executive Yuan's letter dated November 9, 72, No. 7230519. |
| IV. | The registration method and related regulations are as follows: |
| (I) | Registration Method: Please fill out the attached "115 Local Public Office Election Polling and Counting Station Staff Registration Form". After filling out the form, please name the file and email subject as "Individual Registration Form + Name", and send the file by fax (03-3888381) or email (daxi20261128@gmail.com) to Ms. Xie Yiting at this office for registration. The stamped registration form, after approval by the department head and the chief executive, should be kept for your records. |
| (II) | Polling and Counting Station Staffing: Each polling and counting station will be staffed with 1 chief administrator, 1 chief supervisor, and 12 administrators (the actual number will be subject to the announcement by the Election Commission). The relevant regulations for each staff member are as follows: |
| 1. | The chief administrator must be an incumbent civil servant or teacher. |
| 2. | The chief supervisor must be an incumbent or former (retired) civil servant or teacher. |
| 3. | More than one-third of the administrators must be incumbent civil servants or teachers. If there are 12 administrators, at least 4 must be civil servants or teachers. The remaining positions can be filled by civil servants, individuals aged 18 and above, new immigrants, and university students. |
| V. | Attached is one copy of the "115 Local Public Office Election Polling and Counting Station Staff Registration Form". |
