To enhance national security awareness among all citizens, the Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Justice is organizing the

| I. | In accordance with the letter of our government dated August 27, 115, ref. No. 1150240559, forwarding the letter of the Ministry of Justice Investigation Bureau dated August 21, 115, ref. No. 11519515540. |
| II. | To enhance the public's attention to national security issues and strengthen national defense and security awareness, the Ministry of Justice Investigation Bureau is holding an online national security film festival, "Echoes and Light: Gazing at the Pulse of the Island," in an entertaining and educational manner. Nine high-quality audio-visual works covering national security issues such as geopolitics, cybersecurity, freedom of speech, and social resilience have been selected for the public to watch online for free. |
| III. | Information regarding this event is as follows: |
| (1) | Film festival period: From 10:00 on Wednesday, August 19, 115, to 24:00 on Sunday, December 20, 115. |
| (2) | Film festival website: https://mjib.catchplay.com. |
| (3) | Event content: Nine films will be available for free online viewing on the dedicated website during the film festival. Institutions, schools, or groups can apply for public screenings; additionally, starting from late September, the event will simultaneously host a monthly "Decoding the Pulse" quiz and a "Short Messages for a Free Island" short essay contest on the online website. Participants have a chance to win exquisite prizes. |
| IV. | Please assist in publicizing the following matters: |
| (1) | Promote through diverse channels: Please utilize various channels operated by the institution, such as social media platforms, communication software like LINE official accounts, electronic scrolling displays, and bulletin boards, to help publish the event information and poster electronic files (as attached). |
| (2) | Internal promotion and outreach: Please inform and encourage colleagues or teachers and students to watch the films online or apply for public screenings at the institution for in-person viewing, and participate in interactive activities such as the quiz and short essay contest. |
