| I. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1156001796, dated June 17, 115. |
| II. | The aforementioned letter indicates that, except for campus safety, major emergencies, disaster response, or other urgent matters, teaching duties and parent-teacher communication should be conducted during working hours as much as possible. Appropriate contact periods, emergency response, and compensation mechanisms for working outside of office hours should be established. |
| III. | Please post the aforementioned letter and inform all faculty and staff, and properly explain the principles of parent-teacher communication to parents. Furthermore, it is requested that you discuss contact periods, response principles, and emergency handling procedures with the school's teachers' association, union, or teacher representatives. Non-urgent messages may be responded to during the next working day. Teachers should not be expected to be on standby outside of working hours, nor should they receive unfavorable evaluations for not responding immediately. |
| IV. | It is requested that your school establish procedures for recording work, approving overtime, and compensating teachers for duties performed outside of working hours, and include the actual work situations of remote official duties via phone, instant messaging, etc., in the review. This letter is copied to the Taoyuan City Government Education Bureau, requesting that consistent principles for handling related matters be provided to facilitate implementation by all schools. |
