Taoyuan Junior High School108Academic Year Elective Skills Education Course Application Guidelines

I.Purpose: To offer elective skills education courses for students with a greater interest in skills learning, to assist them in understanding their careers, and to facilitate their future career development.

II.Implementation Period: First semester108year9month to109year1month；Second semester:109year2month to109year6month.

III.Target Audience: Eighth-grade students of this school who are interested in skills education, or who intend to apply for“Five-year junior college”,“Skilled admissions”,“Practical skills program” and“Rotating work-study program” in the future, after obtaining parental consent, apply before the end of the eighth grade. Those who are accepted will study at the cooperating vocational high school every Tuesday afternoon in the ninth grade.

IV.Implementation Model: Cooperative skills class.

V.Class Planning: Different programs will be offered based on student choices (a minimum of21students are required to open a class).

VI.Selection Criteria: Based primarily on students' daily performance, with comprehensive consideration of the applicant's vocational aptitude, academic aptitude, and performance in vocational exploration activities. The selection will be made by the school's “Skills Education Student Selection and Career Guidance Committee”. The selection results will be announced on the school website and the counseling office bulletin board before the end of the semester. VII.Course Implementation: Students will gather atevery Tuesday noon12:20to take transportation to the cooperating vocational high school for learning. The learning will be based on the school's Skills Education Implementation Regulations, and the grades in the skills education courses will be used as a reference and basis for the original class grades during the same period.
