National Taiwan College of Performing Arts is holding its 2020-2021 independent admissions. Interested students are welcome to apply~

Description:
1. In accordance with the letter from the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts, No. 1095000646, dated February 26, 2020.
2. The National Taiwan College of Performing Arts, in order to cultivate outstanding talents in professional performing arts, has six departments: Peking Opera, Folk Arts, Traditional Music, Taiwanese Opera, Theater Arts, and Hakka Opera. Students are recruited from the 5th grade of elementary school up to junior high, vocational high school, and four-year college programs. Public funding is provided for elementary to vocational high school levels, covering tuition, miscellaneous fees, meals, books, and uniforms (collectible items will be charged according to school announcements).
3. Admission details (for new and transfer students) are as follows:
(1) Admission Levels
1. Elementary School Department: Admissions start from the 5th grade. Departments: Peking Opera, Folk Arts.
2. Junior High Department: Admissions start from the 1st year of junior high. Departments: Traditional Music, Taiwanese Opera, Hakka Opera.
3. Vocational High School Department: Theater Arts Department (must participate in the 2020 Junior High School Certificate Examination and then select preferences for the Keelung-Taipei Area Senior High School Entrance Examination).
4. Four-Year College Department: Departments: Peking Opera, Folk Arts, Traditional Music, Taiwanese Opera, Theater Arts, Hakka Opera.
(2) Admission Schedule
1. Below Vocational High School
(1) Application Period: March 1, 2020, to June 29, 2020.
(2) Examination Date: July 11, 2020 (Saturday).
2. Four-Year College Department
(1) Application Period: March 1, 2020, to May 3, 2020.
(2) Examination Date: May 16, 2020 (Saturday).
4. All schools are encouraged to have their students actively participate. Elementary school applicants with low-income status and their accompanying parents can apply for subsidies for application fees, transportation, accommodation, and meals. After admission, subsidies for accommodation and living expenses can be applied for. Those with disadvantaged status applying for the four-year college program can apply for subsidies for application fees, transportation, and accommodation.
