| Based on professional considerations that elementary school teachers' long-term observations are more accurate than short-term observations after junior high school enrollment, and to provide gifted students with comprehensive gifted services for three years in junior high school, the city's identification of gifted students in junior high schools for the 110 academic year will be conducted before enrollment, from March to April of next year (110). The eligibility for identification application is for 6th-grade students in public and private elementary schools in the 109 academic year. The identification categories include creative ability, academic aptitude in English, and academic aptitude in mathematics and science giftedness. Furthermore, in response to the spirit of inquiry and practical application emphasized in the 12-year basic education curriculum guidelines, the identification of academically gifted students in junior high schools for the 110 academic year will adopt a two-stage model: an initial aptitude test and a secondary practical assessment. |
