Attention all ninth graders: Regarding the principles for calculating grades in the "Technically Skilled" vocational education courses for the joint entrance examination and priority admission for vocational high schools.

Subject: Regarding the principles for calculating grades in vocational and technical education courses for the "Exceptional Skills" category in the joint entrance examination for five-year junior colleges, as detailed below. Please acknowledge receipt.
Details:  
1. According to the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1110102988 dated October 25, 111, which approved the operational guidelines for the joint entrance examination for five-year junior colleges, the previously used average total score for vocational and technical education courses has been revised to use the highest single-semester percentage score for this course.
2. According to the "Explanation of Scoring Items for Exceptional Skills in the Joint Entrance Examination for Five-Year Junior Colleges," points for exceptional skills are limited to those obtained during junior high school up to and including May 14, 112. A score of 90 or above in the vocational and technical education course (using the highest single-semester percentage score) earns 3 points, a score of 80 or above but less than 90 earns 2 points, and a score of 60 or above but less than 80 earns 1 point.
3. Please inform and guide the students of your school and make this announcement public.

This is handled in accordance with the regulations of the "Admission Brochure for the 112 Academic Year Priority Admission for Five-Year Junior Colleges," approved at the 2nd committee meeting of the admission committee on December 2, 111. The previously used average total score for vocational and technical education courses has been revised to use the highest single-semester percentage score for this course.
2. According to the "Explanation of Scoring Items for Exceptional Skills in the Priority Admission for Five-Year Junior Colleges," points for exceptional skills are limited to those obtained during junior high school up to and including May 14, 112. A score of 90 or above in the vocational and technical education course (using the highest single-semester percentage score) earns 3 points, a score of 80 or above but less than 90 earns 2.5 points, a score of 70 or above but less than 80 earns 1.5 points, and a score of 60 or above but less than 70 earns 1 point.
3. Please inform and guide the students of your school and make this announcement public.
