I. Background of the Activity:

(1) In March 2018, the Health Promotion Administration (HPA) of the Ministry of Health and Welfare released the latest version of the "Daily Dietary Guidelines," "National Dietary Guidelines," and nutritional recommendations for various life stages. In May 2018, they unveiled the "MyPlate" graphic for Taiwanese people. This graphic presents the proportions of different food groups on a plate and includes the slogan: "A glass of milk every morning and evening, a fistful of fruit at every meal, more vegetables than fruit, the same amount of grains as vegetables, a palm-sized portion of beans, fish, eggs, and meat, and a teaspoon of nuts and seeds." This makes it easier for the public to implement balanced eating in every meal.

(2) To promote the concept of balanced eating among the public and disseminate the "MyPlate" graphic released this year, this activity has been planned. Through online submission and online games, we aim to increase public awareness of the "MyPlate" graphic and, consequently, enhance their knowledge of balanced eating.
