Description:
1. In accordance with the letter from the Department of Cultural Affairs, New Taipei City Government, dated January 11, 2019, Ref. No. New Taipei Culture Development No. 1080032015.
2. The purpose of the aforementioned call for submissions is to continue to cultivate film art, encourage young students to engage in image creation, and nurture future image creation talents. Relevant information is as follows:
(1) Eligibility: Students currently enrolled in universities, colleges, vocational high schools, junior high schools, and elementary schools established and registered by the government in Taiwan, or students who are still enrolled at the time their image creation works are completed. For team submissions, more than half of the main creative personnel must be currently enrolled students in Taiwan. Main creative personnel include producers, directors, screenwriters, and main actors (lead and supporting roles).
(2) Submission Period: From now until Sunday, June 30, 2019. Awards ceremony and film festival activities will be held from late September to early October.
(3) Film Theme: Unlimited.
(4) Film Regulations: Genre is unlimited. Submissions will be reviewed and judged in four categories: "Fiction," "Documentary," "Animation," and "Experimental." Films must be completed after September 1, 2018. The length of each film should be within 60 minutes.
(5) Total prize money is NT$1,500,000 (New Taiwan Dollars, hereinafter the same). The Grand Prize winner will receive NT$400,000, with no category distinction.
