Description:
I. To promote the employment of people with disabilities and market the sheltered workshops in Taoyuan City, the aforementioned competition is organized.
II. The competition details are as follows:
(I) Competition Theme: A painting competition themed around the 7 sheltered workshops in Taoyuan City.
(II) Submission Period: From now until June 30th, 5:00 PM.
(III) Competition Categories:
1. Group 1: Elementary School Group, for students currently enrolled in public or private elementary schools in Taoyuan City.
2. Group 2: Junior High School Group, for students currently enrolled in public or private junior high schools in Taoyuan City.
3. Group 3: Senior High School Group, for students currently enrolled in public or private senior high schools (including the first 3 years of 5-year junior colleges) in Taoyuan City.
4. Group 4: Adult Group, including students currently enrolled in universities and colleges nationwide (including the 2nd and 3rd years of 2-year and 3-year junior colleges, and the 4th and 5th years of 5-year junior colleges).
5. Group 5: Persons with Disabilities Group, limited to individuals with a disability certificate (original disability handbook).
(IV) Artwork Specifications: Works should be presented on double-elephant drawing paper. Participants may use any two-dimensional medium for their creations, such as sketching, watercolor, pastel, crayon, oil painting, ink wash, marker, etc. No mounting or framing is required, but computer-generated or composite art is not permitted.
(V) Judging Criteria: The total score for the competition is 100 points, divided into the following categories: Theme Relevance 40%, Color Usage 30%, and Creative Composition 30%. Winners in each group will be selected based on the sum of scores from each judge, ranked from highest to lowest.
(VI) Awards: The top 5 outstanding entries in each group will be awarded medals and gift certificates at the Mid-Autumn Festival Gift Promotion Press Conference.
1. Group 1: Each winner will receive a NT$3,000 gift certificate.
2. Group 2: Each winner will receive a NT$5,000 gift certificate.
3. Group 3: Each winner will receive a NT$7,000 gift certificate.
4. Group 4: Each winner will receive a NT$10,000 gift certificate.
5. Group 5: Each winner will receive a NT$10,000 gift certificate.
(VII) Selected works will be publicly recognized with medals at the "Mid-Autumn Festival Gift Promotion Press Conference" and displayed in frames for 3 days.
(VIII) How to Apply: Participants should complete the application form and submit it along with their artwork and required attachments via registered mail or in person to Hao Wu Co., Ltd., commissioned by this bureau: 11F, No. 2, Datong St., Banqiao Dist., New Taipei City 220 (Tel: 02-2254-2180). Please mark "108th Taoyuan Sheltered Workshop Painting Competition Application" on the envelope.
