Student Affairs Announcement

The National Museum of Natural Science and Technology plans to hold an international science camp this summer (108th year). We kindly request you to inform your affiliated teachers, parents, or students for their reference, and welcome them to register and participate.

Description:
I. To broaden the international horizons of Taiwanese students and provide them with the ability to interact and communicate with international youth, this museum has partnered with relevant overseas science popularization institutions to organize international science summer camp activities. These are suitable for students from junior high to high school (including parents and children) nationwide to register and participate. The overall poster is attached as Appendix I.
II. The content of the 108th summer international science camp activities includes:
(I) Overseas Group
1. Malaysia Arduibo Programming Science Camp! (Let’s go to Tech Dome for Arduino!), June 16-22, 108. The partner institution is Tech Dome Science Center in Penang, Malaysia. The target audience is graduating junior high school students who have English communication skills. The promotional brochure for the activity is attached as Appendix II.
2. Singapore Science Tour to Singapore for Family, July 6-11, 108. The partner institutions are Science Center Singapore, National University of Singapore, and Art Science Museum. The target audience is parents and children. The promotional brochure for the activity is attached as Appendix III.
3. STEAM Touring Program to Singapore for Teens, July 6-13, 108. The partner institutions are Science Center Singapore, National University of Singapore, Art Science Museum, and Singapore Polytechnic International. The target audience is high school students (including incoming freshmen) who have English communication skills. The promotional brochure for the activity is attached as Appendix IV.
(II) Domestic Group
1. Malaysia Teens Sci. Tour in Taiwan, June 4-6, 108. The target audience is graduating junior high school students. The promotional brochure for the activity is attached as Appendix II.
2. International STEM Competition for teens (Malaysia/Thailand/Taiwan), August 12-17, 108. The target audience is 13-16 year old teenagers (including incoming junior high and high school freshmen) with English communication skills. The promotional brochure for the activity is attached as Appendix V.
