To inform that the Environmental Analysis Institute of the Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan, and the Chinese Society of Environmental Analysis will jointly hold the "2019 (33rd) Symposium on Environmental Analytical Chemistry" on May 16-17, 2019, at the Environmental Analysis Institute of the Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan. During the event (May 17), the 2019 "Living with Nature, Sustainable Environment" Environmental Season series of activities will be held - "Science Popularization Knowledge Learning Tour - Getting to Know PM2.5 Activity."

I. To promote the exchange of environmental analytical chemistry technology, enhance the research and development and improvement of domestic environmental analysis technology, and assist in implementing national environmental protection policy objectives, the aforementioned seminar is planned (for seminar information, please refer to the website of the Chinese Society of Environmental Analytical Chemistry: http://www.ceas.org.tw/).
II. In addition, to respond to World Earth Day on April 22nd and World Environment Day on June 5th, the Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan has designated April to June as "Environment Season" for the first time, with the theme "Living with Wildlife, Sustainable Environment." There are 15 series of activities, including photography contests, environmental education stage plays, river and roadside cleanups, tree planting, and point collection for consumption (details on the timing and locations of each activity can be found on the official Environment Season website and Facebook page: https://www.epa.gov.tw/ED/843CC94228137412). Among these, the "Science Popularization Learning Journey - Understanding PM2.5 Activity," related to the theme of green sustainability, will be held concurrently at the venue of this seminar on May 17th. In addition to introducing PM2.5 science popularization knowledge at the event, videos will be shown, PM2.5 samplers will be operated, and collected samples will be displayed. We welcome and encourage teachers and students from your school (high school and above) to actively participate.
