| Subject: | Forwarding the revised "Self-Epidemic Prevention Guidelines" by the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) for Severe Pneumonia with Novel Pathogens (hereinafter referred to as the CECC), please acknowledge. |
| Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Department of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, No. 1110144333, dated October 19, 111. |
| II. | In response to the gradual relaxation of border controls and domestic epidemic prevention policies, individuals entering the country from abroad will be exempted from home quarantine and will instead undergo 7 days of self-epidemic prevention. Due to adjustments in epidemic prevention policies, some content of the original "COVID-19 Home Quarantine and Self-Epidemic Prevention Guidelines" is no longer applicable. Therefore, the CECC has revised the aforementioned guidelines, which will take effect from October 13 of the same year. However, if the border opening policy implementation date is adjusted due to epidemic factors, the effective date shall be subject to the date announced by the CECC. |
| III. | Regarding campus epidemic prevention measures, please continue to follow the guidelines issued by this bureau in letters No. 1110097154 dated October 12, 111, and No. 1110097855 dated October 13, 111 (received). |
| IV. | The attached document for this matter can be found on the homepage of the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (https://www.cdc.gov.tw/) > Infectious Disease and Epidemic Prevention Topics > Infectious Disease Introduction > Category 5 Notifiable Infectious Diseases > Severe Pneumonia with Novel Pathogens > Latest Policy Information > Home Quarantine and Self-Epidemic Prevention for reference and use. |
