| II. | In response to the discharge of tritium-contaminated wastewater from Fukushima, Japan, the Atomic Energy Council has established an inter-ministerial platform. Through principles such as monitoring and assessment, and referencing international standards, they are tracking information from the discharge source, strengthening marine and seafood radiation monitoring, and establishing an ocean dispersion modeling system. Additionally, a single portal, the "Ocean Information Platform for Radioactive Material Dispersion" (URL: https://tworis.aec.gov.tw), has been set up to publicly disclose relevant information for inquiry and viewing. |
| III. | The Council has produced the aforementioned explanatory materials, using infographics to explain the scientific knowledge regarding tritium-contaminated wastewater and its monitoring. The aim is to enhance the media literacy of teachers and students on campus regarding these issues. Please utilize these materials appropriately and assist in disseminating them widely. |
