| I. | The activity is organized to align with the Ministry of Education's "Teacher Education Universities' Social Responsibility Practice Program (1st Year) Special Project 1-2: Teacher Education USR - Cross-Disciplinary Innovation" for 2024-2025. With the philosophy of responding to sustainable development through local action, this initiative invites students from elementary, junior high, and high schools to submit their learning works. The goal is to encourage students to explore and care about local sustainable issues from a scientific perspective, fostering an understanding of the relationship between science, society, and themselves. |
| II. | Details of the activity are as follows: |
| (1) | Eligibility: |
| 1. | Students from elementary, junior high, and high schools nationwide are eligible to participate individually or in teams (up to 8 members). |
| 2. | Each student is limited to submitting a maximum of 2 works. |
| (2) | Theme: Exploration of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). |
| (3) | Work Requirements: One short video, 2-5 minutes in length, presenting questions, suggestions, and actions related to sustainable development goals. |
| (4) | Online Registration and Submission Period: From now until Thursday, June 6, 2024. |
| (5) | Evaluation Criteria: |
| 1. | Critical Thinking (30%): Formulate clear questions and themes based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for exploration. |
| 2. | Inquiry Skills (30%): Plan and execute inquiry actions, which may include reading, investigation, experiments, questioning, or practical actions. |
| 3. | Communication Skills (40%): Effectively convey creative solutions to the established problem themes through the short video. |
| (6) | Evaluation Schedule: |
| 1. | Preliminary Review Period: Wednesday, June 12, 2024, to Sunday, June 16, 2024. |
| 2. | Final Review Period: Tuesday, June 18, 2024, to Sunday, June 23, 2024. |
| 3. | Award Ceremony: Related information will be announced on the activity website. |
