113th Carbon Sink Enhancement Workshop (Taoyuan-Hsinchu Session) Activity Brochure

Description:  
I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1132701736, dated April 23, 113.
II. To address climate change and promote the global net-zero emissions goal, the Ministry of Education, through the carbon sequestration calculation function of the "Campus Tree Information Platform," is assessing the carbon sequestration status of trees within campuses. This aims to enhance teachers' and students' understanding of the role of green plants in energy saving and carbon reduction, and to promote the concept of loving trees, hence the organization of the aforementioned activity.
III. Information regarding this activity is as follows:
(1) Participants: Environmental Education Guidance Group, school environmental education teachers, school tree maintenance personnel, planting personnel, or interested school colleagues.
(2) Time: May 22, 113 (Wednesday), 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Registration starts at 12:00 PM (lunch will be provided). The seminar officially begins at 12:50 PM.
(3) Location: 2F Lecture Hall, Resource Building, National Hsinchu Senior High School (No. 36 Xuefu Road, East District, Hsinchu City).
(4) Registration Method: Online registration is open from now until 5:00 PM on May 15, 113 (Wednesday). Limited to 50 participants. Multiple participants from the same school are welcome. However, if the number of applicants exceeds the limit, the organizer will select participants based on the principle of maximizing the number of participating schools and the order of registration. (5) Personnel participating in this activity will be granted official leave (or business leave) by their respective schools according to their authority.
IV. Public servants, teachers, and environmental educators who participate in the entire seminar will receive 3 hours of environmental education credits (including extended hours), teacher professional development hours, or lifelong learning hours for public servants. If you require these credits, please indicate your need on the registration form and sign in and out at the event.

VI. This carbon sequestration enhancement seminar, part of the aforementioned plan, is scheduled to have 6 sessions this year. This is the 4th session.
