Regarding the "AIDS Prevention 'Escape Room' Seed Teacher Training" course commissioned by the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Centers for Disease Control (hereinafter referred to as CDC) to the Hsingling Medical Foundation, please assist in notifying teachers to actively register and participate.

Description:  
I. In accordance with the letter No. 006, dated May 2, 2024, from the Hsing-Ling Medical Foundation.
II. In view of the supplementary resolution passed at the 18th meeting of the 8th session of the Legislative Yuan in 2015, all levels of schools (upper grades of elementary school, junior high school, senior high school, and university/college) should arrange at least 2 hours of AIDS education courses per semester for teachers and administrative staff, and at least 1 hour of AIDS education time for students. The course content should cover at least the following items: 1. Basic AIDS knowledge and prevention methods; 2. Clarification of disease values and awareness of gender diversity; 3. How to interact with people living with HIV; 4. AIDS experiential education.
III. In 2022, the foundation was commissioned by the Rotary Club of Yongping to develop an "escape room" activity-based curriculum for AIDS prevention in elementary schools. In 2023, it was commissioned by the Centers for Disease Control to conduct training for seed teachers for this curriculum. This year, the foundation will continue to promote this initiative by organizing capacity-building workshops for junior and senior high school teachers, etc., to enhance their teaching abilities and implement sex education in classrooms. Through the experiential escape room activity for sex education, students will learn about adolescent self-care, online dating, and internet safety issues, and establish correct knowledge, attitudes, and positive care towards AIDS.
IV. The activities organized this year are as follows:
(1) Date: May 23, 2024 (Thursday).
(2) Time: 8:50 AM to 4:10 PM.
(3) Location: Ming Chuan Elementary School, Daan District, Taipei City.
(4) Target Audience: Teachers involved in AIDS prevention education in junior and senior high schools in this city, seed teachers of health promotion and health education counseling groups, etc. The number of participants is generally limited to 60.

(6) Continuing Education Credits: 6 hours.
V. Please encourage teachers and educational administrative personnel in relevant fields to participate, and grant them official leave for public duty according to their authority.
