| Description: |
| I. | In accordance with the letter of our government, Ref: No. 1130120382, Department of Health, dated May 6, 113. |
| II. | Recently, affected by a cold front, Taiwan has experienced continuous rainfall, creating an environment conducive to the breeding of vector mosquitoes. Furthermore, new cases are still being reported in the southern regions. The public is urged to implement the "Inspect, Dump, Clean, Scrub" method by scrubbing water-holding containers weekly to reduce mosquito breeding. After rain, strengthen the inspection of water accumulation areas and containers around your home. When engaging in outdoor activities, wear light-colored long-sleeved clothing and pants, and use mosquito repellent approved by government agencies containing effective ingredients such as DEET, Picaridin, or IR-3535 to avoid mosquito bites. |
| III. | Our government will announce the "Taoyuan City Measures for Eliminating Vector Mosquito Breeding and Preventing Dengue Fever, Chikungunya, and Zika Virus Infections" on June 1st. Violations of the relevant regulations will be penalized according to the Communicable Disease Control Act. Please post this announcement at your school and inform all faculty, staff, students, and parents to strictly adhere to the regulations. |
