| Description: |
| I. | To strengthen the understanding of educational personnel in our country regarding Climate Change Education (CCE), Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to move towards the international trend of "Climate Change and Sustainable Development Education" (CCESD = CCE + ESD), linking it with the SDGs to become CCESDG, we promote "Climate Change Education Oriented Towards Sustainable Development" in schools at all levels. The CTCI Education Foundation (CTCIEF), in conjunction with the Ministry of Education's Climate Change Education Promotion Plan on the Climate Change Education Information Platform, the Graduate Institute of Sustainable Management and Environmental Education at National Taiwan Normal University, and the Taiwan Institute of Sustainable Energy (TAISE), jointly organized the aforementioned call for proposals to encourage teachers to develop and compile "Climate Change and Sustainable Development Lesson Plans." |
| II. | The content of the call for proposals should focus on "Climate Change Education" (CCE) promoted by the United Nations combined with "Education for Sustainable Development" (ESD). The theme should be related to climate change issues (such as mitigation, adaptation, climate science, net-zero emissions, etc.) to construct school-based curricula. It must also consider the interdisciplinary and multi-perspective characteristics of "Sustainable Development," incorporating global and local economic, social, and environmental issues into the curriculum themes, and integrating them with local features. |
