| Description: |
| I. | The National Teachers' Union Federation (hereinafter referred to as "the Federation"), in order to promote the revitalization of domestic coarse grains and the understanding of local agricultural culture, and to focus on the issue of food self-sufficiency, has combined resources from various sectors since 2011, and is committed to promoting activities related to "getting close to the soil and farmers" to cultivate food and agriculture education from a young age. |
| II. | To widely invite more teachers to integrate "Food and Agriculture Classroom" into their curriculum and teaching, the Federation specially provides "Teaching Seed Boxes" (application method as attached). Each box contains six types of coarse grain seeds, teaching handbooks, and other resources for teachers to practice and innovate in their food and agriculture courses. |
| III. | To enable participating teachers to better understand the meaning of "getting close to the soil and farmers" and how to conduct "Food and Agriculture Classroom" teaching, the Federation will continue to cooperate with the Ministry of Education's Preschool and Elementary Education Administration in 2024 to organize teacher training courses. We will widely invite teachers who are practicing the curriculum and farmers to share their experiences. Information on each session will be announced in the "Food and Agriculture Classroom" section of the Federation's website, and the training videos will be uploaded to the Environmental Education Lifelong Learning Network for teachers to conduct online training. |
| IV. | We kindly request your assistance in announcing and disseminating this project, and encourage teachers from your school to actively participate. |
