Forwarding the announcement from the Food and Agriculture Administration of the Ministry of Agriculture regarding the "2024 (National) High School Teacher Grain Food Education Demonstration Course Workshop" organized by the Taiwan Grain Industry Development Association.

Description:  
I. In accordance with the letter from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, dated May 31, 113 (2024), Ref. No. 1130061640.
II. To promote campus food and agriculture education, the aforementioned association has organized this training event on domestic grains for junior high school teachers. The aim is for teachers to integrate this into their school curriculum to enhance students' understanding of domestic grains. Through the curriculum, teachers are expected to develop creative and distinctive lesson plans, collectively fostering a food and agriculture education environment.
III. The details of the event are as follows:
(1) Registration Method: Please refer to the registration brochure.
(2) Registration Period: From now until July 15, 113 (2024), 12:00 PM.
(3) Eligibility: Home economics teachers from junior high schools.
(4) Training Dates: August 5 to August 7, 113 (2024), from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM daily, for a total of 3 days.
(5) Training Location: Yuxiu Building, 3rd Floor Classroom and Practice Factory, Taiwan Flour Millers Association (No. 225, Sec. 3, Zhongshan Rd., Bali Dist., New Taipei City).
(6) Training Content: The training will focus on the recognition, application, and tasting of domestic grains. After completing the training, participants will be required to develop and conduct promotional courses using distinctive food and agriculture lesson plans. Those whose lesson plans are approved will receive a lesson plan writing fee of NT$3,000. Teachers or school representatives who receive outstanding awards will be recognized at the "Grain Excellence Awards" ceremony in 113 (2024).
