Description:
I. In accordance with the letter from the Ministry of the Interior's General Administration of Land Management, No. 1131088982, dated June 13, 113.
II. To deeply integrate the concept of the profound connection between sewer construction and environmental sustainability into schools, the Administration has commissioned Formosa Television Culture Co., Ltd. to plan a "Forest Battle: Mysterious Underground Passages" board game curriculum teacher training event and a board game lesson plan submission event. A one-day training event will be held for junior and elementary school teachers nationwide, along with a board game teaching video. Teachers are encouraged to develop lesson plans on sewer engineering issues using the board game as a teaching tool for submission to the Administration for evaluation, aiming to spark teachers' and students' interest in learning about sewer knowledge.
III. The board game curriculum teacher training event will be held in three sessions. The times and locations are as follows. For detailed information, please refer to the event brochure (Attachment 1):
(1) Session 1: July 23, 113, Taoyuan North Area Water Reclamation Center.
(2) Session 2: July 26, 113, Changhua City Water Reclamation Center.
(3) Session 3: July 29, 113, Yongkang Water Reclamation Center.
IV. The board game lesson plan submission event will be conducted via online registration, with submissions opening on August 1, 113, and closing on September 15, 113. For lesson plans that are reviewed and approved, each teacher can apply to the Administration for up to 3 board games for use as teaching materials. After the submission deadline, the Administration will conduct an evaluation. Five lesson plans will be selected from the junior high school group and five from the elementary school group, with winners receiving a prize of NT$5,000 and a certificate. In addition to the award-winning authors, all those whose submissions are reviewed and approved will receive a certificate of appreciation for participation.
