| I. | The first official exhibition from the UK to be held in Taiwan: |
| (1) | Magical creatures have finally landed in Taiwan! The "Harry Potter" magical series novels, created by British author J.K. Rowling, have taken the world by storm, and the spin-off film series, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," has also gained popularity. This exhibition, a collaboration between the Natural History Museum, Warner Bros., and the BBC, is a world tour that offers a new perspective. It combines nearly a hundred historical artifacts, natural specimens, interactive installations, original artwork from the publications, and movie props to create a natural history museum special exhibition that subverts expectations. It is based on scientific texts while also incorporating the content of extremely interesting film and television works, making it a must-visit exhibition this summer! |
| (2) | The biggest highlight of this exhibition is leading visitors to further explore the incredible abilities shared by fictional magical beasts and real-life creatures, delving into rich and interesting ecological knowledge. It turns out that Nifflers share the same habits as Adelie penguins and Australian wasps, while the Erumpent's invisibility skill is inspired by the chameleon's ability to change its body color. The exhibition also features rare specimens such as the Okapi, Helmeted Hornbill, Kakapo, and the La Plata dolphin. Most of these exhibits are being shown in Taiwan for the first time, promising a visual feast for all visitors! |
| (3) | The exhibition hall is filled with wondrous mechanisms. You can pull open drawers or cabinets, press interactive buttons, and more to discover which magical beasts are hidden within! Exhibits include the "Hogwarts Dragon Skeleton," named after Hogwarts and once seen in Professor Lupin's office in the "Harry Potter" films; and the "Narwhal Tusk," a giant creature fossil inspired by the Blast-Ended Skrewt from "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." These exhibits await your personal interaction and exploration. |
| II. | Exhibition Highlights |
| (1) | The first stop in Asia! Explore the sparks created when the real world meets the world of Harry Potter, and the wonders of the natural world that have inspired myths and fantastical creatures passed down to this day. |
| (2) | A comprehensive display of the Natural History Museum's rich collection, along with props and original artwork from the "Harry Potter" and "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" films. |
| (3) | You will embark on an extraordinary journey, exploring the fantastical beasts of the wizarding world and their astonishingly similar abilities and traits to real animals. |
