| 1. | To encourage young students to explore the field of scientific research and understand science from diverse perspectives, the National Science and Technology Council has been organizing the Kiss Science event for six consecutive years since 2019. Our Bureau is participating in this initiative by hosting an open house to enhance public understanding of meteorological services. |
| 2. | The event will feature various themed exhibitions with guided explanations of the Bureau's related services (popular science), including forecasting, earthquakes, astronomy, satellites, radar, meteorological observations (instruments), oceanography (instruments), and more. This aims to deepen the understanding of natural sciences in atmospheric, seismic, oceanic, and astronomical fields for visitors of all ages. Additionally, there will be an SOS (Earth Display System) theater and a "New Horizons in Meteorological Reality" circular theater, allowing visitors to more intuitively comprehend natural scientific phenomena occurring on Earth. |
