Student Affairs Announcement

Forwarding the "Aging Food" MOOC online course offered by National Taiwan Ocean University, which provides 8 hours of professional development credit on the "National Teacher In-service Training Information Network." To enhance learning effectiveness, participants who complete the course and meet the passing standards have a chance to win a silicone placemat designed for the course. Please inform your staff to actively register and learn.

Description:  
I. In accordance with the letter from National Taiwan Ocean University, dated February 13, 114 (2025), No. Hai Jiao Zhong Zi Di 1140002877.
II. This course is designed to meet the physiological and nutritional needs of the elderly. It introduces domestic and international standards for food texture grading, and covers food processing techniques and current market trends. Through practical DIY sessions for elderly-friendly foods, participants will learn to plan and prepare meals that cater to the health needs of seniors.
III. Course Information:
(1) Instructor: Professor Chun-Ju Chang, Department of Food Science, National Taiwan Ocean University.
(2) Course Content: The course covers physiological and nutritional issues for the elderly, food texture grading standards, applications of food processing technology, the current market for elderly-focused foods, design of elderly-friendly foods, and DIY elderly-friendly food preparation.
(3) Course Period: February 19 to April 14, 114 (2025).
(4) The course is completely free and open to all participants.

(6) How to Attend: Select the course on the "Ministry of Education MOOCs Platform (edu MOOCs+)". For login, please choose the option "Use Education Cloud Account or County/City Account".
IV. "National In-Service Teacher Training Information Network": For those who meet the course passing standard (60 points), the "Ministry of Education MOOCs Platform (edu MOOCs+)" will automatically sync with the "National In-Service Teacher Training Information Network" to issue training hours.
V. To enhance learning effectiveness, the first 100 participants who complete the course and meet the passing standard, and then fill out and submit the form, will receive a silicone placemat specially designed for this course.
