| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Department of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, dated March 17, 114 (2025), Ref. No. 1140025442A. |
| II. | The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the Ministry of Health and Welfare stated in their recent letter that they have received reports of people mistakenly picking and consuming poisonous plants, leading to food poisoning. Therefore, schools are requested to assist in reminding students to strictly adhere to the "Five Essentials and Two Don'ts" principles for preventing food poisoning. They are also encouraged to utilize the information on plant-based natural toxins (such as wild mushrooms, Alocasia odora, Datura metel, etc.) introduced on the FDA's official website's "Food Poisoning Prevention Zone" (http://www.fda.gov.tw/TC/siteContent.aspx?sid=11538) for food poisoning prevention awareness campaigns. |
| III. | Additionally, as it is currently the peak season for Norovirus, please remind food service providers, faculty, staff, and students on campus to thoroughly wash their hands with soap before preparing meals, after using the restroom, or after contact with any contaminated materials, to cultivate good hygiene habits. If experiencing any discomfort, please wear a mask and seek medical attention promptly to prevent the spread of Norovirus clusters and protect your health and the health of others. |
