| I. | To promote public attention and support for the concept of cherishing food, this city is seeking "delicious recipes" and "creative teaching plans" for food preservation through the "Cherish Food Chef Selection" event. This allows culinary masters to compete on how to prepare delicious dishes that can be made in daily life in the most "food-cherishing" way, starting from the source; and enables educators to transform the concept of food preservation into teaching actions, collectively creating a new trend of cherishing food. |
| II. | Event details are as follows: |
| (1) | Participants: Chefs, teachers, students, and professionals in the catering industry, as well as individuals interested in promoting culinary or food preservation culture, and environmental educators are all welcome to participate. |
| (2) | Date: July 15, 2025 (Tuesday). |
| (3) | Location: College of Human Ecology and Design Building, De Lin Institute of Technology (No. 93, Hengyang St., Zhongli Dist., Taoyuan City). |
| (4) | Selection Categories: |
| 1. | Food Preservation Recipe Group: Individual participation only. |
| 2. | Food Preservation Creative Teaching Plan Group: Open to individuals or teams. If participating as a team, the maximum number of members is 3. |
| (5) | Registration Method: |
| 1. | Online Registration: Please visit https://www.cherishfood.com.tw/join_index.php before the deadline of June 10, 2025 (Tuesday) at 5:00 PM, and select "Taoyuan City Registration". |
| 2. | Paper Registration: Please mail or deliver in person via registered post to the receiving unit, Taoyuan City Government Environmental Protection Bureau (No. 1, Fazhi Rd., Taoyuan Dist., Taoyuan City), by the deadline of June 10, 2025 (Tuesday) at 5:00 PM. Recipient: Ms. Chang, Extension 1132, Comprehensive Planning Section. |
