Forwarding the notice regarding the Shingles Vaccination Subsidy Program for 2025, which will be implemented by our Department of Health starting July 1, 2025.

| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Taoyuan City Government Health Bureau dated July 3, 114, Document No. 1140059056. |
| II. | To reduce the risk of shingles in our city, promote the core concept of "Proactively Guard Your Health, Taoyuan Walks With You," enhance citizens' awareness of preventive medicine and medical autonomy, implement self-health management in daily life, actively participate in vaccination, understand personal health risks, and consider medical care options in advance, the Health Bureau of this Government has launched the aforementioned plan starting from July 1st of this year. The details are as follows: |
| (1) | Eligibility: Must be registered residents of this city and meet the following conditions simultaneously. |
| 1. | Aged 50 years or older (born in or before 1975), calculated as "Year of Vaccination" minus "Year of Birth" is greater than or equal to 50 years. |
| 2. | Received influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations in 113. |
| 3. | Have signed an Advance Decision (AD). |
| (2) | Subsidy Method: One dose of city-purchased inactivated recombinant protein shingles vaccine (hereinafter referred to as RZV) will be provided free of charge for eligible individuals to receive vaccination. |
| (3) | Vaccination Principles: |
| 1. | For those who have never received RZV, one dose of RZV will be provided at their own expense, and a second dose will be scheduled for free within 2 to 6 months. |
| 2. | For those who have received one dose of RZV with an interval of at least 2 months, one dose of RZV will be provided free of charge. |
| (4) | Vaccination Locations: 13 district health centers in this city. |
| III. | To ensure the smooth promotion of the aforementioned vaccination plan, we kindly request your school/kindergarten to assist in publishing the information on your website or bulletin board. Electronic promotional posters and related plan materials can be found on the homepage of the Health Bureau's website > Business Information > Preventive Vaccination section under the Shingles Vaccine Subsidy Plan Special Zone (https://gov.tw/RCt). |
| IV. | If your school/kindergarten requires physical posters (A1 size), please notify the Health Bureau contact person via email: 03-3340935 ext. 2104, Contact Person: Mr. Hsu Tsung-shuo, E-mail: 10024487@mail.tycg.gov.tw, and please provide the mailing address and required quantity. |
