| II. | The Ministry of Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, by letter dated July 4, 113 (2024), No. 1130076800 (received), forwarded the aforementioned handbook issued by the Department. Schools are requested to strengthen publicity and utilization. To continuously improve the handling process for food poisoning incidents, the Department has specifically revised the content of the aforementioned handbook as follows: |
| (1) | Added common principles for health bureaus to order businesses to suspend operations. |
| (2) | Added Listeria monocytogenes to bacterial causative agents and made minor revisions to related text. |
| (3) | Minor revisions to text (including English translation) and wording for clarity and consistency. |
| III. | The revised handbook is attached. Please disseminate it to on-campus catering businesses, faculty, staff, and students, encouraging them to utilize it and continue to implement self-management of food hygiene to protect the rights and interests of faculty, staff, and students regarding catering hygiene and safety. |
