| Subject: | Please strengthen the post-rain environmental inspection and breeding source elimination operations in the areas under your school's (kindergarten's) jurisdiction to prevent the breeding of vector mosquitoes and the transmission of diseases. Please be informed. |
| Description: |
| 1. | In accordance with the letter from our government, Ref. No. 1150092118, Department of Health, dated April 9, 115. |
| 2. | Due to its geographical location and convenient transportation, our city experiences frequent population movement. Furthermore, recent heavy rainfall has led to the accumulation of water in various containers and low-lying areas, which is conducive to the breeding of vector mosquitoes. Stagnant water in indoor and outdoor environments can easily become breeding grounds, with larvae (wrigglers) commonly found in buckets, container lids, plant saucers, tires, tree hollows, and tarpaulins. If not promptly cleared, this increases the risk of vector mosquito breeding. |
| 3. | To prevent the breeding of vector mosquitoes and the transmission of diseases, please increase the frequency of environmental inspections in the areas under your jurisdiction after rain, regularly clear stagnant water containers within these areas, and implement the "inspect, empty, clean, scrub" breeding source elimination operations. Strengthen publicity and supervision to ensure that relevant management units thoroughly clean up the environment to prevent the breeding of vector mosquitoes and the transmission of diseases. If breeding sources of vector mosquitoes are found, a fine of NT$3,000 to NT$15,000 will be imposed in accordance with Articles 25 and 70 of the Communicable Disease Control Act. |
| 4. | Attached is one Dengue Fever promotional flyer. |
