| Subject: | To promote energy-saving awareness and implement energy-saving actions, our association, in collaboration with the Bureau of Energy, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and ITRI, is organizing the 2026 Wilderness "Home Energy Saving Action Workshop" (Teacher Training Camp). Please inform your affiliated units and teachers and encourage them to apply. |
| Description: |
| 1. | Since 2005, our association has been promoting the "Lights Out on Summer Solstice" campaign, and in 2010, we joined the international initiative with "Earth Hour." We have continuously organized related advocacy activities annually, dedicated to promoting the importance of energy saving, carbon reduction, and climate change adaptation. Furthermore, since 2012, in collaboration with the Bureau of Energy, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and ITRI, we have been conducting energy-saving and carbon-reduction promotion and education in communities, households, organizations, and campuses across all counties and cities, linking local community energy and practicing life-saving energy-saving methods. |
| 2. | To deepen campus energy-saving education, our association has specifically designed the "Home Energy Saving Action Workshop" (Teacher Training Camp) for elementary and secondary school teachers. We will use easy-to-understand explanations combined with fun and engaging experiential activities to introduce environmental issue teaching that meets teachers' pedagogical needs, enabling them to easily guide students in adopting everyday energy-saving actions. The activity period is from now until September 30, 2027. For details on the activity content and application methods, please refer to the attachment. Please complete your registration by September 25. |
| 3. | The content of this activity is closely related to daily life and is presented in a relaxed and diverse format. The target audience is elementary and secondary school teachers, and it serves as professional development training. Full participation will earn teacher training hours. We welcome your enthusiastic application. For details on the activity and application information, please visit the activity website (https://www.sow.org.tw/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=14281). |
| 4. | The number of sessions is limited. For details, please contact the project contact person: Wu Jia-Ling, Phone: (02)2307-1568 ext. 34, Email: sowedu02@wilderness.tw. |
