| Subject: | Attached is the syllabus for the "115th Academic Year School Environmental Education Practical Competition" organized by the Ministry of Education. We encourage your school to participate actively. Please refer to the details below for your reference. |

| I. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1152702387 dated August 10, 115. |
| II. | Key points of the competition are as follows: |
| (I) | Participants: Elementary school group (grades 4-6), Junior high school group (grades 7-9). |
| (II) | Practical Competition Format: The competition will focus on the five major environmental education themes: "Environmental Ethics, Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Disaster Prevention and Relief, and Sustainable Use of Energy and Resources." Participants will produce environmental actions or tangible works that address corresponding problems, demonstrating environmental action and impact. |
| (III) | Review Method and Awards: The Ministry will form a review committee to evaluate the entries. The review process will consist of two stages: preliminary and final. For each group, the top 3 winners (1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place) will be selected, along with several honorable mentions, merit awards, and teacher cultivation awards, as well as 3 county/city group awards. |
| (IV) | Special Awards: The Ministry of the Environment will establish "Environmental Education Innovation Special Award" and "Resource Recycling Special Award" for both elementary and junior high school groups, with two awards in each category. These awards encourage teachers and students to demonstrate their knowledge of net-zero emissions and sustainability, innovative actions, and to practice the concept of resource recycling and zero waste. |
| (V) | Timeline: The preliminary review submission period will be from October 12 to November 12, 115, conducted through written review. The final review is scheduled for March 116, conducted through on-site presentations. The award ceremony is expected to be held in April 116. |
