2026 "Campus Tree Carbon Sequestration Knowledge Workshop"

Subject:This bureau will hold the 115th "Campus Tree Carbon Sequestration Knowledge and Skills Workshop" on October 8, 115 (Thursday). We request your school to encourage faculty and staff to actively register and participate. Please be informed.
Details: 
I.In accordance with Taoyuan City Government Education Bureau's Document No. 1150079402 dated August 26, 115, this matter is being continued.
II.This workshop is organized in response to climate change and the global net-zero emission goals. Through the carbon sequestration calculation function of the Ministry of Education's "Campus Tree Information Platform," we aim to inventory campus tree carbon sequestration, enhance teachers' and students' understanding of the energy-saving and carbon-reducing functions of green plants, and promote the concept of loving trees. Therefore, this teacher professional development workshop is being held.
III.Workshop information is as follows:
(1)Time: Elementary school sessions will be held in the morning on October 8, 115 (Thursday), and junior high and high school sessions will be held in the afternoon (refer to the workshop curriculum for details).
(2)Location: 1st Floor Lecture Hall, Activity Center, Caoliao Elementary School, Guanyin District, this city (No. 1462, Xinsheng Road, Section 2, Caoxin Village, Guanyin District, this city).
(3)Number of participants: A total of 200 participants, including health section chiefs, academic affairs directors, environmental education teachers, or interested school staff from elementary, junior high, and high schools in this city.
(4)Registration method: From September 20, 115 to September 30, 115, please register on the "Taoyuan City Education Development Resources Portal." The organizer is Caoliao Elementary School. The session code for elementary schools is E00163-260900003; the session code for junior high and high schools is E00163-260900004.
(5)Participants who attend the entire workshop will be granted 3 hours of workshop credit.
IV.Participants in this workshop will be granted official (business) leave during the event, provided that it does not affect their teaching duties and they do not receive substitute teacher fees.
V.Notes:
(1)Considering the limited parking space within Caoliao Elementary School, parking spaces cannot be provided. Participants are requested to park their vehicles in the surrounding areas outside the school and walk to the school. Entry to the school can be made through the main gate or the side entrance of the activity center (refer to the Caoliao Elementary School campus map).
(2)Furthermore, eating and drinking are prohibited inside the lecture hall of the activity center. Participants are requested to finish their meals before entering the workshop venue.
(3)A western-style pastry box will be provided after the workshop. To support environmental protection, participants are requested to bring their own reusable cups.
