{{ $t('FEZ002') }} Office of Student Affairs|

I.To deeply cultivate students' musical and artistic literacy and broaden their international horizons, our company is honored to invite the "National Opera of Ukraine Orchestra," a premier Eastern European artistic institution with a 159-year history, to Taiwan for the first time during this festive season. The performance will be personally conducted by the orchestra's Music Director, Mykola Dyadyura, alongside four distinguished Ukrainian opera vocalists. We are also delighted to feature Taiwan's internationally acclaimed "Formosa Singers," who will join forces on stage. Together, with a grand ensemble of nearly a hundred musicians and singers, they will perform the pinnacle of classical music – Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125 "Choral." This program is not only a supreme example of classical symphonic and choral artistry but also, in these turbulent times, a powerful message of freedom and peace through moving music, offering immense value for life education and aesthetic appreciation. It is highly recommended for all schools as a subject for artistic appreciation, observation for music classes, and extracurricular learning.
II.Performance Highlights:
(I)A Centennial National Treasure Orchestra Debuts in Taiwan: The National Opera of Ukraine Orchestra, with its century-long cultural heritage, showcases the precise and profound performance techniques of authentic European opera and symphonic traditions.
(II)A Convergence of Top European and Taiwanese Choral and Vocal Excellence: Featuring renowned European opera divas and Taiwan's "Formosa Singers" in an international collaboration, this performance presents a grand soundscape of a hundred-person choir and orchestra, offering a rare opportunity for observation and demonstration in domestic choral education.
