I. Purpose: To award children from low-income households to successfully complete their studies, enhance their livelihood skills, and hope to enter a moderately prosperous society.

II. Organizing Units:

( 1 )Organizer: Taoyuan County Government Education Bureau.

( 2 )Undertaking Unit: Undertaking School.

III. Application Qualifications:

( 1 )Children of registered low-income households in various townships and cities in the county for more than six months, studying in domestic public and private universities and collegeslow-income households(excluding graduate schools), vocational high schools, and students in elementary and junior high schools in the county.( excluding graduate schools ), vocational high schools, and students in elementary and junior high schools in the county.

( 2 )No demerit record (including demerits) or above during the school period.( including )or above during the school period.( Records of demerits being expunged or demerits offsetting each other do not meet the application qualifications)..

( 3 )Not receiving public funding.

IV. Application Categories and Amounts:The Bureau may adjust the number of scholarships and grants for each category based on the budget and the number of applicants.

( 1 )University and College Group (the first 3 years of a 5-year junior college are equivalent to high school, and the latter 2 years are equivalent to university):3years are equivalent to high school, and the latter2years are equivalent to university):

1.Scholarship:

(1)Amount: NT$ 8,000.

(2)Academic average score of 70 or above in the previous semester.70points or above.

2.Grant:

(1)Amount: NT$ 6,000.

( 2 )High School and Vocational Group (including continuing education schools):( including continuing education schools ) :

1.Scholarship:

(1)Amount: NT$ 4,000.

(2)Academic average score of 80 or above in the previous semester.80points or above.

2.Grant:

(1)Amount: NT$ 3,000.

(2)Academic average score of 60 or above in the previous semester.60points or above.

( 3 )Junior High School Group:

1.Scholarship:

(1)Amount: NT$ 2,000.

(2)Academic average score of 80 or above in the previous semester.80points or above.

2.Grant - Amount: NT$ - Amount: NT$ 1,500.

( 4 )Elementary School Group - Amount: NT$ - Amount: NT$ 1,000.

V. Review:

( 1 )The issuance of scholarships and grants shall be decided by the "Taoyuan County Xiaokang Plan Renai Scholarship and Grant Review Committee."

( 2 )The chairperson shall be the Director of the Education Bureau. VI. Student Application Procedures: The applicant shall fill out the [Application Form] (Attachment 1) and submit it with supporting documents to the school for preliminary review.( Attachment 1 )and submit it with supporting documents to the school for preliminary review.

VII. Materials to be Submitted by Undertaking Units of Each School:

( 1 )County-run Elementary and Junior High Schools in the County: :

1.Mail the original [Application and Disbursement List] (Attachment 2) to the undertaking school. ( 2 )Universities, Vocational High Schools, Private Elementary and Junior High Schools: :

X. Supplementary Provisions:

( 1 )High school and university students in extended study periods are not eligible for this scholarship; grants are limited to a maximum of two years of extended study.

( 3 )Those who only receive tuition fee waivers or apply for educational funds are still eligible to apply.

( 4 )Applicants can only choose one option between scholarship and grant. If the academic score has decimal points, it will be rounded to the nearest whole number using the "round half up" method.

( 5 )All submitted documents, regardless of whether the application is approved or not, will not be returned.
