I. The Taoyuan City Government (hereinafter referred to as "the Government") has formulated this plan to encourage indigenous students in need to strive for excellence, motivate outstanding indigenous children in the city to pursue academic success, improve educational standards, and cultivate outstanding indigenous talents to contribute to the nation and ethnic groups.
II. Eligibility: Applicants must be registered residents of this cityfor more than 4 months, possess indigenous status, and be currently enrolled in public (private) universities (colleges), public (private) senior high schools (vocational schools), or junior high schools (hereinafter referred to as "junior high schools") in Taiwan, with formal student status.They are eligible to apply for this scholarship.(助)學金。
III. Eligibility for Assistance:
(1) Scholarship for students in need: Students whose academic performance in the previous semester meets the standards in Article 1 and whose family situation meets one of the criteria in Article 2 may apply:
1.Academic Standards: Overall average score in academic subjects and arts and crafts subjects must be above 70 points.70分以上。
2.Family Financial Hardship Standards and Priority for Assistance:
(1)Households classified as low-income according to the Social Assistance Act.
(2)Single-parent families where one parent is solely responsible for childcare and is unable to afford it.
(3)One parent has passed away, and the guardian is unable to afford the cost of raising the child.
(4)Families experiencing significant hardship and financial difficulties.
3.For criterion (1) in the preceding paragraph, a certificate of low-income household issued by the district office must be attached. For criteria (2), (3), and (4), a family situation visit report filled out and signed by the homeroom teacher of the student's school must be attached.1)小目應檢附區公所核發之低收入戶證明;第(2)(3)(4)應檢附就讀學校班級導師填具之家庭狀況訪視表,並簽章證明。
(2) Scholarship for outstanding students: Academic performance in the previous semester (calculated as a percentage) must meet the following standards:
1.University/College Students: Overall academic average score of 80 points or above, with no failing grades in any subject.80分以上,無任何一科不及格者。
2.Public Senior High School Students: Overall academic average score of 75 points or above, with no failing grades in any subject.75分以上,無任何一科不及格者。
3.Vocational School and Private Senior High School Students: Overall academic average score of 80 points or above, with no failing grades in any subject.80分以上,無任何一科不及格者。
4.Junior High School Students: Overall academic average score of 80 points or above, with no failing grades in any subject, are eligible to apply.80分以上,無任何一科不及格者,得提出申請。
IV. In any of the following situations, applicants are not eligible for the aforementioned scholarship:(助)學金:
(1)Already receiving other publicly funded scholarships.) (2)
First-semester freshmen in any grade level.二) (3)
Students in continuing education programs, extension classes, cooperative education programs, or in-service programs at any level (excluding evening classes in senior high schools).三) 各級學校進修部、推廣進修班、建教班、在職專班等進修學生(不包括高中夜間部)。
V. The scholarship amounts for needy and outstanding students this semester are as follows:(助)學金補助金額如下:
(1)University/College Group: NT$8,000 per person per semester.) 大學(專)組:每人每學期補助新臺幣8,000元。
(2)Public Senior High School Group: NT$4,000 per person per semester.) 公立高中組:每人每學期補助新臺幣4,000元。
(3)Private Senior High School and Public (Private) Vocational School Group: NT$4,000 per person per semester.) 私立高中及公(私)立高職組:每人每學期補助新臺幣4,000元。
(4)Junior High School Group: NT$2,000 per person per semester.) 國中組:每人每學期補助新臺幣2,000元。
VI. Implementation Measures:
(1)Application Method:1.This plan accepts applications twice a year, in the first and second semesters.
2.Eligible applicants should submit their applications to their respective schools. After initial review by the school, the school will compile and forward the applications to the Indigenous Peoples Commission of the Taoyuan City Government for final review. Late applications will not be accepted.
(2)Application Period: Beginning of each semester.
(3)Documents to be submitted:1.Application Form (Attachment 1).
2.Document Attachment Page: Photocopy of student ID card (a certificate of enrollment issued by the school can be exempted from attachment) and photocopy of the applicant's Post Office savings account cover page (if the applicant does not have a Post Office account, a photocopy of the guardian's Post Office account can be used) (Attachment 2).) 繳驗證件如下:

(4)Review Process:1.Applications and supporting documents will be reviewed item by item according to the requirements of this plan. If any omissions or discrepancies are found, the applicant will be notified (or a reply will be sent) to make corrections within a specified period. Late submissions will not be accepted.
2.If the number of applicants for the scholarship exceeds the allocated quota, recipients will be selected based on the highest academic performance (intelligence and conduct) in order until the allocated funds are exhausted.
3.Submitted application forms and supporting documents for unsuccessful applicants will not be returned.4.Special schools, evening classes, public senior high schools, and private senior high schools will be evaluated separately due to their differing natures, and the number of scholarships awarded will be proportional to the number of applicants.)學金學生人數超過規定補助名額時,就學業成績(智、操行)最高者依(序)5.
The scholarship quotas for each group stipulated in this plan may be adjusted within the allocated budget, and recipients will be selected based on merit according to the decisions of the review committee.申請人所送之申請書及證明文件,如未核定錄取一概不發還相關文件。
4. 啟智學校、夜間部、公立高中、私立高中,因性質差異分開評比,並依申請人數比例錄取受獎名額。
(5)Disbursement Method:1.After the applicant has been reviewed and approved by the Government, the scholarship will be directly deposited into the applicant's (or guardian's) account by the Government, and a letter will be sent to each school to inform the awarded students.)。

七、 經費:本計畫所需經費由原住民族委員會補助本市辦理「都市原住民發展計畫度執行計畫」支應。
