Description:
1. In accordance with the National Academy for Educational Research's letter No. 1081300519 dated April 8, 2019.
2. Information regarding this event is as follows:
(1) Eligibility: Citizens of the Republic of China, excluding preschool children who have not yet enrolled in elementary school.
(2) Event Categories:
1. Elementary School Student Group: Currently enrolled elementary school students.
2. Junior High School Student Group: Currently enrolled junior high school students.
3. Senior High School Student Group: Currently enrolled senior high school students.
4. College/University Student Group: Currently enrolled college/university students (including graduate students).
5. General Public Group: Individuals who are not currently enrolled as students from elementary school to college/university (including graduate school).
(3) Submission Period: April 16, 2019, to May 31, 2019, based on file transmission time.
(4) Awards:
1. Woodpecker Award: Divided into 5 groups based on event categories. Each group will have a First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize, and Honorable Mention. Prizes will be equivalent gift certificates worth NT$10,000, NT$8,000, NT$6,000, and NT$1,000 respectively, along with a certificate of award.
2. Mentoring Teacher Award: To encourage teachers to integrate the Ministry of Education's online dictionary into their teaching, any teacher who guides 10 or more students will receive a certificate of award. The top 2 mentors (total of 8) with the most students in each group (elementary, junior high, senior high, college/university) will also receive equivalent gift certificates worth NT$5,000. If a group has fewer than 2 mentors with 10 or more students, the award for the highest number of mentored students may be reallocated from other groups.
