Description:

I. In accordance with the letter from National Central University, No. 1083400575, dated May 17, 2019.

II. To popularize energy science and technology education in elementary and secondary schools, and to continue to cultivate and promote it, this teacher workshop aims to enhance teachers' energy knowledge through capacity-building courses. It broadly recruits teachers from elementary and secondary schools in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli who are enthusiastic about promoting energy and environmental education. Through the transmission of energy science and technology knowledge and hands-on practice with teaching aids, the course enriches teachers' energy knowledge, enhances their understanding of environmental and energy-related issues, and teaches them how to practice energy saving and carbon reduction in daily life. Furthermore, it transforms this into teaching energy, develops related teaching aids and lesson plans for the 108 curriculum, and integrates practical experience into teaching activities. The goal is to cultivate elementary and secondary students with basic knowledge and literacy in energy science and technology, so as to gradually achieve the goal of popularizing energy science and technology education.

III. The information regarding the aforementioned teacher workshop is as follows:

(I) Venue: E2-101 Conference Room, Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Central University.

(II) Registration Method: Registration is open from now until June 17, 2019 (Monday) at 17:00. Please register online at http://t.cn/ESQUKkw. No other registration methods will be accepted.

IV. Participants in this program will be granted official leave by their respective schools in accordance with their authority, under the principle of self-funded study.
