Description:
1. This seminar is the final成果發表 (achievement presentation) of the Ministry of Education's 2018 project subsidizing universities to use social education institutions as bases for digital humanities initiatives.
2. Time: Wednesday, June 12, 2019, from 9:00 AM to 4:35 PM.
3. Location: Rooms 805 and 104, Ziping Building, our university (No. 152, Sec. 3, Beishen Rd., Shenkeng Dist., New Taipei City).
4. The seminar's main focus will be the digital achievements of "Digital Textbooks of Old Maps and Local Customs of Taiwan." It will guide participants through the geographical landscape of Taiwan in the 17th and 18th centuries, explore the indigenous plants and socio-ecological records of Taiwan's indigenous peoples, and inspire discussions on virtual digital textbook technology, holding significant meaning for geography, history, and humanities education.
5. Participants who attend the entire session will receive 6 hours of training credit.
