Description:
I. In accordance with the letter No. 1080072028 dated June 27, 108, from the Department of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as the "Department").
II. The pilot program for project teachers mentioned above is briefly explained as follows:
(I) Service Period: Academic Year 108 (August 1, 108 to July 31, 109).
(II) Eligibility: Must be a qualified, currently employed teacher in a senior high school, junior high school, or elementary school.
(III) Application Method: From now until July 12, 108 (Friday) (postmark as proof).
(IV) Selection Criteria:
1. Ability to implement "flipped classroom" teaching.
2. Professional counseling ability in developing and promoting interdisciplinary competency-based teaching (including subject knowledge, curriculum design and materials, teaching methods, etc.).
3. Ability to lead teacher professional learning communities.
4. Personality traits such as enthusiasm for service, willingness to engage with people, good communication skills, reflective thinking, rational thinking, and a willingness to cooperate in a team.
(V) Selection Method: Written review (30%) and interview (70%). A total score of 100 points. Those who score below 80 points will not be hired.
(VI) Selection Date: The Department will conduct an initial written review and will notify selected candidates by phone for individual interviews.
(VII) Selection Location: 4th Floor Conference Room, Department of Secondary Education Taipei Office (No. 48-1, Xuzhou Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City).
III. To prevent project teachers from affecting school affairs, please communicate with your service school before applying. After obtaining the principal's approval to reduce the full academic year's basic teaching hours, and to not be assigned any classes, administrative duties, or homeroom teacher responsibilities while serving as a project teacher, you may then apply. For any resulting teaching vacancies, the school may hire substitute teachers in accordance with regulations, and the necessary expenses will be subsidized by the Department's project funds.
IV. The Department will hire project teachers based on the selection results and issue appointment letters. The term of appointment will generally be for one academic year. The Department may extend the appointment for another academic year based on the performance of each project teacher.
