Description:

1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's letter No. 1080089604 dated August 7, 2019.

2. The 12-year basic education curriculum has been implemented year by year starting from the 2019 academic year, according to different educational stages (elementary school, junior high school, and the first year of senior high school). To help parents understand issues related to the 12-year basic education curriculum, the Ministry of Education has produced explanatory presentations on three topics: competency-based question setting for the junior high school entrance examination, students' reading literacy, and junior high school career counseling.

3. The electronic files of the aforementioned presentations have been uploaded to the special area of "Curriculum Support and Promotion Materials" on the website of the National Caotun Vocational High School of Commerce and Industry (URL: http://www.ttvs.ntct.edu.tw/ischool/publish_page/15/?cid=2868). Schools may use these materials when holding orientation sessions for new students' parents to help them understand information related to the 12-year basic education curriculum.

4. To ensure widespread awareness, please promote and utilize the information on the list of these three presentations and the URL where the electronic files are hosted through school websites, parent-teacher-student communication channels, and various modes of interaction with parents.
