2. In response to recent elections and Lunar New Year activities, to maintain flight safety, please inform the organizing units and the public of the following matters when organizing gatherings, parades, or other activities:
(1) Within a certain distance around airports and aerodromes, if you intend to release objects that endanger flight safety (including remotely piloted drones, kites, sky lanterns, fireworks, remote-controlled aircraft, balloons, or other floating or moving objects that may affect aircraft flight safety, which are released by humans), you must apply to the Civil Aeronautics Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications at least 15 days before the event. If the release is not approved by the Administration and is verified, a fine of not less than NT$300,000 and not more than NT$1,500,000 will be imposed in accordance with Article 118 of the Civil Aviation Act.
(2) During aircraft flight, no person shall direct spotlight projectors or laser beams at aircraft. Violators will be subject to criminal punishment or fines in accordance with Article 101 of the Civil Aviation Act.
3. Furthermore, regarding the operation and filming of remotely piloted drones, the special chapter on remotely piloted drones in the Civil Aviation Act came into effect on March 31, 109, stipulating relevant regulations for the management of remotely piloted drones. Please remind the organizing units to comply with the relevant regulations of the Civil Aviation Act when applying for activities.
