Description:
I. In accordance with the letter No. 1090001163 from the Hakka Affairs Bureau of this Government, dated February 14, 2020.
II. Competition information is as follows:
(I) Competition Date: September 12, 2020 (Saturday).
(II) Competition Venue: National Central University, Teaching and Research Building (Address: No. 300, Zhongda Road, Zhongli District, Taoyuan City 32001).
(III) Registration Period: June 1, 2020 to September 4, 2020 (Friday) until 5:00 PM.
(IV) Competition Groups: Divided into 6 groups: Preschool, Elementary School (Lower, Middle (A, B), Upper Grades), and Junior High School.
(V) Order of Appearance: A public drawing is tentatively scheduled to be held on September 9, 2020 (Wednesday) at the Taoyuan Hakka Culture Museum.
(VI) Awards:
1. All participants who complete the competition will receive a promotional item.
2. The top 3 finishers will receive cash prizes (or equivalent gift certificates) of NT$6,000, NT$4,000, and NT$2,000 respectively; Excellence awards will receive NT$1,000; and Merit awards will receive NT$600, along with a certificate of commendation.
3. Participants who do not receive any rankings or grades will also receive a certificate of commendation.
III. Participating students shall complete the activity registration form and consent form. Applications should be submitted by schools in a unified manner, via registered mail (postmark as proof) or in person to the Cultural and Educational Development Section, Hakka Affairs Bureau, Taoyuan City Government (No. 500, Section 3, Zhongzheng Road, Longtan District, Taoyuan City 32546).
